A Painting Inspired by You
Where Your Vision Becomes Art
What does the Process Look Like?
Step One: Share Your Inspiration
This is where the magic begins. Start gathering what speaks to you. Photos, colors, memories, little details—it all helps. The more you share, the more I can bring your future painting to life in a way that feels deeply you. Once you have a general vision, fill out this form to get the conversation started. Upon receiving the form, I'll reach out to confirm details.
Step Two: The Painting Process
Once your piece is on my calendar, a 50% deposit will be required to start work on the commission. Once received, I’ll create a concept sketch for you to review. From there, I begin painting—layer by layer—bringing your vision to life.
Your painting will be created over the course of about 6–8 weeks.
Step Three: The Unveiling
The moment we’ve been waiting for. Your finished painting will be revealed, but before it makes its way home, it needs a little rest in the studio. Oil paintings take time to fully cure, so allow an additional 3–4 weeks before varnishing to protect and enrich the surface.
Every painting is a little different—depending on the pigments and textures, curing times can vary. If it needs a bit more time, I’ll keep you updated every step of the way.
Upon approval, the remainder 50% of the commission payment will be due.
Step Four: Delivery Day
Once fully paid, the painting will make it’s way to you. Your painting will be carefully packaged, insured and sent straight to your door—ready to find its place in your home.
All sizes are offered in inches and prices listed in USD. Please note that these are the prices for 2026 and may be subject to increase in the future.
All oil painting will be completed on stretched gallery-wrapped canvas, which allows for the painting to be hung up without the need for a frame. All paintings include complementary shipping.
11x14: $950
16x20: $1900
18x24: $2500
24x36: $5200

A 50% deposit will be required to begin your commission. The remaining deposit will be due once the final painting has been approved.
Every painting will include a signed certificate of authenticity as well as hanging hardware pre-installed for easy hanging on the wall. Also, you might find a few extra painted surprises along with your original.
Will You Make Prints Of The Piece?
I love seeing how a painting can take on a life of its own and mean something different to each person who lives with it. Because of that, I keep the copyright and reproduction rights for all artwork created.
FAQs
When your painting is complete, the original is yours to live with and display in your home.
I, as the artist, do retain the copyright and reproduction rights to the artwork. That means the purchase or commission of an original doesn’t include permission to reproduce it in any form—whether that’s prints, book covers, or other uses.
A commissioned painting is a beautiful collaborative journey.
If the timeline shifts or a painting requires extra time, you will be promptly updated. Work-in-progress imagery will only be shared once the piece has reached a level of showcase quality, preserving the full impact of the final work.
Occasionally, I may choose to create a process video for social media; however, this is at my discretion and is not included as part of the commission. This process does not include promotion of personal brands or outside projects.
Professional and respectful communication is essential. I do not answer personal questions, entertain inappropriate conversation, create work that is offensive or hateful, or tolerate harassment of any kind. If boundaries are crossed, I reserve the right to cancel the commission.
Your finished painting will be carefully packaged and delivered via shipping service, ensuring it arrives safely and ready to take its place in your home.
After revealing the painting, if something feels just slightly off, you’re welcome to one complimentary refinement. This might look like adding a soft glaze for more depth, gently shifting the colors, or bringing in a bit more detail.
If additional changes are requested beyond that, they can absolutely be explored—any extra revisions will be quoted on a case-by-case basis.
