Amanda’s Story
In the beginning….
Amanda Rinaldi was born in the bustling vibrant city of Montreal, CA, surrounded by the colorful urban scenery and eclectic melting pot of the area. Before she could talk or form sentences, Amanda always found herself drawn to the fun markings and imaginative play behind a blank piece of paper. This love for art continued to blossom and grow through her childhood and early adulthood, where she gained recognition for her artistic merits, receiving a Minor in Digital Art, and later becoming a Paint Nite instructor and eventually quitting her rigorous engineering job to become a full-time professional artist.
In her art, Amanda captures the joyful dance between reality and imagination, blending vibrant expressionism with charming realism. Through playful strokes and authentic details, she celebrates the joy of freedom to just be oneself, inviting viewers to see the world with fresh, curious eyes. Each piece is a lighthearted wink at life’s quirks, a reminder to embrace spontaneity, and let creativity run free. Amanda’s work is an open invitation to smile, explore, and find the magic in the everyday, as she believes art should be as charming and boundless as the spirit behind it.
Amanda currently works in her home studio in a quiet coastal town of southeastern CT, taking in the wonderful changing of the seasons (particularly the fall!), being a mother for her two young children, and creating art to bring more hope and optimism in a world that desperately needs it.
